CHRISTMAS TREE FARM
Christmas season is my favorite time for family pictures. I love the decorations, the colors, the snow, and the overall cozy aesthetic. For one of my family photoshoots this year, we stopped at Balsam Ridge Christmas Tree Farm in Raymond, Maine. It was the perfect setting for a Christmas card photo.
Tree farms have always been a tradition for me (mostly because I reenact the movie National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation everytime). So I was already in love with this place as soon as we arrived.
This family owned and operated tree farm sits on 50 acres giving you plenty of options to help you find the perfect tree. Once you have explored every inch of the land, you can return back to the entrance and stop into the gift shop. They have a wide selection of wreaths, balls, and bows to choose from and if that wasn’t enough, wait until you get inside and see their selection of maple products!
For the Children: Kid’s can get hot chocolate, candy canes, and a free coloring book. You can even stay awhile and watch the horses or relax by the fire on the weekends. Maybe if you are lucky, you might even get to see Santa!
*They also provide saws, tree wrapping, and carts just in case you come unprepared.
