The Christmas season in Maine can be one of the most beautiful and decorative seasons of the year. From light displays to ice parks, there are plenty of cheerful winter events to see! There is one, in particular, that is my personal favorite..

Every year L.L.Bean in Freeport puts on the most majestic holiday light display in their park. Filled with Christmas trees and lights, they go all out to create a fun and festive atmosphere for the family. Visitors on the weekend get to see Santa in his workshop along with his reindeer. While he’s away, kids can still write letters and drop them in the mailbox so he can read them later. Afterward, you can swing over the the Warming Hut so you don’t get frozen from all your Freeport shopping.
